Drake – God’s Plan (Thoreau Rework)

Denver-based producer Thoreau is very keen on Drake‘s new single, “God’s Plan,” from the hip-hop superstar’s latest surprise EP, Scary Hours.

So keen, in fact, that he decided to give the track a bit of his own electronic touch. Thoreau’s cover gives dance music fans exactly what they’ve been yearning from the single. He has touched it up with his own vocals in place of Drake’s, along with some energetic synths and driving percussive elements — transforming a chill rap/R&B ballad into a sprightly dance driven track.
