Midweek Mantra Mix 002: Throwback to CloZee’s Oregon Eclipse 2017 mix

Wednesday is humpday, which not only marks the halfway point between the work week and the coveted weekend, but also Conscious Electronic’s Midweek Mantra Mix (M3). We’ve been scouring the web’s most enlightening bass music mixes that align with our vision, to provide “a conscious way to consume dance music.” On a technical level, these are the artists who utilize weird wubs, spaced-out synths, complex tempos, breakbeats, extreme low ends, and more outer space elements. Thematically, their music is bent on conscious-raising and empowering their listeners to fall deep into the meditative spaces of their mind’s eye, taking them on sonic journey to another time and place.

Coming as the second transmission in Conscious Electronic‘s Midweek Mantra Mix is CloZee‘s Oregon Eclipse Mix. Spanning an hour-and-a-half in length, this one is a nice throwback to a transcendental festival that changed the lives of many conscious festival-goers back in August 2017. It was a time when CloZee was rising swiftly in ranks of bass music with her signature world sound, which incorporates a seamless blend of glitch, trip hop, folk, downtempo, left-field, and tribal bass.

Fast forward two years and CloZee is one of the most in-demand bass music acts in all of dance music. While her live sets have changed drastically over time, now incorporating more material from her newest EVASION LP, hallmark tracks remain from her Oregon Eclipse Mix. Incorporating originals like “Koto” and “Drip (VIP)” to “Harmony” and “Ceremony,” CloZee massages listeners’ third eye and leaves them feeling lifted and connected with the world around them. Not to mention, the entire mix serves as a reminder of where CloZee has been and where she is heading.
