Seven Lions forms his own record label, debuts first single on Ophelia imprint
Seven Lions is making huge industry steps. On the heels of announcing his very own curated event series, Jeff Montalvo now takes another vital step in his already-burgeoning career in the formation of his own record label. He’s calling the imprint “Ophelia,” which Montalvo says it represents a sort of self-professed “home base” for all Seven Lions musical releases. The Seattle-based producer has released music on a variety of different labels in the past, including Monstercat and OWSLA.
Really happy to finally announce my new record label, Ophelia. I've been lucky enough to release on some great labels through the years, but I couldn't be more excited to now have a home base for my music. The first release is called 'Calling You Home' and will be out Friday. pic.twitter.com/EmGfsxgNSx

Along with the news comes Ophelia’s debut release,“Calling You Home,” featuring Runn. The track is built around Runn’s vocals, conjuring up a mystical vibe with pulsing basslines, dramatic bridges, and signature Seven Lions melodic dubstep drops. If the track marks what to expect from future releases on Ophelia, fans are certainly in for a treat.
