RÜFÜS DU SOL announce third studio album ‘SOLACE’ along with leading single, ‘No Place’ [WATCH]
After a triumphant sophomore studio album in Bloom, RÜFÜS DU SOL are finally making their long-awaited return.
The Sydney-based trio have now released their first single of 2018, entitled “No Place.” The track arrives as the first off RÜFÜS’ third full-length studio album, SOLACE.
Ethereal and fundamentally pleasing, “No Place” puts lead singer Tyrone Lindqvist’s piercing vocals on full display. Swirling atmospheres, catchy drum work, and robust horns mark RÜFÜS’ instrumentation on the track, which shows a marked sophistication from their debut album, Atlas, in 2013. Yet, at the same time, their refined sound still contains the deeply cinematic nature of their original sound stamp.
SOLACE is slated for a release sometime this year on Reprise Records/Warner Music.
