An ODESZA-hosted Foreign Family festival may be the works

When Seattle-based duo ODESZA announced they won’t be returning to Red Rocks in 2019, which is arguably their most iconic stop each year, fans immediately took to Reddit to begin speculating over a possible Foreign Family music festival. After all, the pair practically hinted at a potential festival in a previous Reddit AMA.

With ODESZA’s Red Rocks event selling out back-to-back weekends two years running, along with an iconic Coachella main stage performance, as well as Foreign Family’s first curated stage taking place at Electric Forest 2017, it seems Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight are primed and ready to raise the bar.

Naturally, rumors have begun circulating that whatever “something big they’ve got in the works” is just that: A long-awaited, highly-anticipated Foreign Family festival. The line-up would likely include label-signees and friends, including Jai Wolf, Chet Porter, Rufus Du Sol, Kasbo, along with a whole cast of bass-leaning producers who share the glittering and euphoric ODESZA sound stamp.

As for the potential venue? Well, the fitting choice would be the Gorge Amphitheatre as they pair has yet to play the legendary Washington state venue — a locale which is essentially in their backyard.
