Riverdale’s Camila Mendes stars in The Chainsmokers’ ‘Side Effects’ music video
The Chainsmokers have called on Camila Mendes to be to focal point of their “Side Effects” music video. Mendes, who plays the role of Veronica Lodge on the CW’s Archie Comics reboot, Riverdale, is depicted in the video as an overworked hotel maid who lets loose during after hours. Interestingly, the original song features the vocals of Emily Warren, who is nowhere to be seen in the actual music video. The Chainsmokers make a small cameo appearance toward’s the music video’s end.
The track came as the final release of The Chainsmokers’ newest EP, Sick Boy…Side Effects, and was most recently performed live by Taggart, Pall, and Warren during Good Morning America’s Summer Concert Series in NYC’s Central Park.
