Bassnectar releases third part in his ‘Reflective’ EP project

In the dead of night, Bassnectar has released his Reflective (Part 3) EP and it’s proving itself the climactic project in the series he’s been rolling out for over a year. With the help of some close collaborators, Lorin Ashton takes listeners on a circular journey into the deepest depths of his submarine bass while catapulting them into the cosmos with his signature spacey, glittering synths.

From the raga-influenced cuts of his collaboration with Conrank, “Easy Does It,” to the majestic melodies of his remix of Rusko‘s “High” and the Maximillian-assisted track, “FSOSF,” Bassnectar’s 7-track EP is as immersive and fluid as water. Bass heads will have an especially good time getting down to “Mothership,” featuring Vindata, at Bassnectar’s Labor Day weekend event, BassCenter XI. The Hampton-hosted venue is nicknamed “The Mothership” by bass heads near and far. So naturally, Ashton has crafted a track to play specifically for the event. Ashton says of the album,

“Hope you enjoy this next chapter in our ongoing Reflective adventure: a brand new selection of co-creations, customized versions, remixes, edits, and re-imaginations, fashioned from molten idea-space in the crucible of collaboration!!!”

Lorin Ashton’s sheer versatility and sonic range is just unmatched by any other electronic producer in the industry today. No wonder he continues to draw in sold-out crowds all over the country.

The new EP arrives via Bassnectar’s Amorphous Music imprint.
