Gravitas unveils 7-city label showcase tour, shares ‘Infusion Vol. 6’
Bass music tastemaker and Gravitas label head Psymbionic has rounded the troops for one special label compilation, plus a “Gravitas Recordings Showcase” tour hitting 7 US cities this fall.
Grativas’ goal for their Infusion series is to bring fans of the imprint fresh new music on the regular. Volume 6 is one compilation that doesn’t fail to deliver on the label’s psychedelic bass/glitchy sound stamp. With a stand-out collaboration from Morillo & Soohan, a glitch-fueled remix of Zebbler Encanti Experience‘s “Inner G,” and a downtempo ballad from Fractal Sky, the entire album features a diverse array of forward-thinking electronic sounds from heavy-hitting bass to smooth downtempo.
The Gravitas Recordings Showcase will feature producers on the imprint coming from all across the country to play under one roof. Label favorites Au5, Govinda, Cloudchord, Edamame, and others will be gracing 7 lucky areas across the Midwest and West Coast, including bass hubs in Grand Rapids and Denver, along with a special stop at Gravitas’ home in Austin.
