Gorillaz share ‘Tranz’ remix by Poté
Arriving as their second studio LP in two years, The Now Now marked Gorillaz‘s sixth full length work over the course of their illustrious career.
Today, Gorillaz happily share an official remix for the album’s second track, “Tranz,” which has been reworked by the St. Lucian-born, London-bred artist, Poté. Poté transforms “Tranz” into a club ready jam, touched with his culture-merging sound and love for drum and percussion work.
The official remix follows the release of the transformative “Tranz” clip directed by Gorillaz co-founder Jamie Hewlett. The eye-popping visual that combines classic hand-drawn animation and Claymation marks the character’s first ever live performance video and only live performance since 2010’s unforgettable MTV EMA performance.
