Alison Wonderland drops new Ariana Grande remix at EDC Orlando, debuts new collab with Dillon Francis

Alison Wonderland is one woman in dance music that not only caters to her fans, she truly listens. When Insomniac announced that her set time at EDC Orlando conflicted with Illenium, she immediately went into talks with festival organizers to get her set time pushed so attendees could witness both acts.

The outcome of said negotiations was a headlining slot during which time Wonderland gave fans an even tastier treat on the kineticFIELD main stage. The treat in question? A special cut of Ariana Grande’s pop/R&B crossover tune, “God is a Woman.”

The Aussie powerhouse one-woman act previously tweeted that she “may or may not” have a special version of Grande’s hit single in store for the weekend’s festivities. But no one could have prepared for the expert treatment she mustered up from the original track. Equipped with Wonderland’s characteristic build-ups and her signature trap drops, the remix is any big room festival enthusiast’s dream.

No official release date has been give to her remix as of yet, but it’s clear from the recording that the version is a work in progress — one in which Wonderland is gauging audience reaction around. As if the Ariana Grande remix wasn’t enough to wet fans pallets, Alison Wonderland then hit the stage during Dillon Francis‘ set to deliver a live rendition of their newest collaboration.
