Ultra Music Festival releases Resistance line-up with Adam Beyer b2b Prydz, Carl Cox, Maceo Plex, Sasha & Digweed, Testpilot, and many more
For devoted attendees of Miami’s Ultra Music Festival, they know that Resistance is essentially a micro festival within the gargantuan festival itself. While the Resistance stage hosted the Arcadia Spider and the Carl Cox Megastructure whilst in Bayfront Park, Ultra Miami’s move to the Virginia Key has provided organizers with a key opportunity: a tiny remote island off the beach state park.
Welcome to Resistance Island, which caters to the more underground tastes of techno and tech-house. Now Ultra has just unveiled its detailed lineup, which includes the globe’s top underground heavy weights (quite the paradox, we know). Billed for the weekend of March 29-31 is Art Department, Black Coffee, Charlotte de Witte, Hot Since 82, Joris Voorn, Loco Dice, Maceo Plex, deadmau5’s techno alias testpilot, and so many more.
The island also features and a bevy of back-to-back sets, including Dubfire b2b Nicole Moudaber b2b Paco Osuna, Sasha and Digweed, Camelphat and Salardo, Jamie Jones and Joseph Caprioti, Carl Cox b2b TBA, and more.
But the most noticeable name(s) to grace Resistance are Adam Beyer and Cirez D, who’ve just come across a massive sold-out bi-costal run together, to return to where the pair first began. For those who remember, Beyer and Eric Prydz only just launched the b2b joint venture during Miami Music Week last year.
Stay tuned for Ultra’s phase two line-up release, which should be landing within the next few weeks.
