The Chainsmokers debut new Illenium collaboration at Ultra Miami [WATCH]
Ultra Music Festival officially wrapped this weekend and was filled with the world’s most in-demand electronic dance music artists unloading tons of new music. Among those was The Chainsmokers, who closed out the festival main stage on Saturday, March 30.
The Chainsmokers surprised the crowd when they invited Denver-based melodic mastermind Illenium to the stage to debut their first-ever track at Ultra. The track, titled “Take Away,” features Drew Taggart taking the lead on the vocals, in good ole Chainsmokers fashion. Behind the decks are partner Alex Pall and Nick Miller of Illenium mixing for a perfect fusion of the bands’ respective styles.
No word on the track’s official release has been given, but it sounds to be fully mastered and ready for fans’ ears any day. Watch the short 2-minute clip below.
