Sully follows up debut single with menacing bass production, ‘Break The Floor’
Here at Conscious Electronic, we’re huge fans of bass music. That’s why we get squeamish when we stumble across the newest rising star. Los Angeles producer Chris “Sully” Sullivant falls into this category. The recent Icon Collective graduate just released his debut single in “Frequency Shift.” He now follows up with the release of a relentless new track titled “Break the Floor.”
From the moment the track opens, Sully creates an eerie “calm before the storm” listening experience by blending middle eastern vocal samples and atmospheric textures over his signature reese bass sounds. The energy then becomes a seismic shockwave as both drops dish out thick layers of menacing bass before switching into a rhythm so off-the-grid and wonky it has the potential to chop listeners into pieces.
