Zeke Beats’ latest effort is short, not-so-sweet, and simple. The Australian heavy bass producer has just released his latest 3-track EP, Bad Robots, via Deadbeats. Executed with precision, Bad Robots is an intimate collection that meshes the dirty underground roots of grime bass music with sharp sounds and free form sampling.

The EP’s titled track is filled with deep robotic synths and a heavy melody that slaps the breath out of the listener. The next tune, “Fire Tonight,” brings the depth, making it seem as though time has stopped and the heart has skipped a beat. Finishing off the EP is “The Mammoth,” a trap-inspired track that is nothing short of an enticing masterpiece.
