27-year-old male found dead at Bonnaroo Festival

A 27-year-old male was found dead in the campgrounds at Bonnaroo Music Festival on Saturday, according to local news reports.

A PR spokesperson for Kaleidoscope Media, told the Manchester Times that on-site medical teams were called to a campsite to treat an unresponsive man. The patient was transported to a nearby hospital where he was pronounced dead. The man’s cause of death is unknown, although he had a history pre-existing health conditions.

“Earlier today, our medical team in Plaza 11 was asked to respond to a medical situation in a nearby campsite,” Ann Ewing stated in a press release. “The Bonnaroo Medical team and Coffee County Emergency Services were on the scene within minutes. A 27-year-old male patron camping who with his father was unresponsive. The medical team administered CPR, and he was transported to the hospital. We understand that he had an underlying medical condition and that, unfortunately, he has died. We have no further information at this time. Our thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”

It’s the second year in a row that Bonnaroo has experienced such a tragedy, with 2018 seeing the death of a 32-year-old young man due to overdose.
