Mad Decent Festival cancelled with less than two weeks until showtime

The Super Mega Ultra Giant Mad Decent Music Festival was supposed to take place on July 20 and 21 at the Gillette Stadium in Foxborough, MA. Billie Eilish, G-Eazy, Major Lazer, and Miguel were scheduled to headline. Other fan-favorites like Dillon Francis, Zeds Dead, Rezz, and, Ekali, were all supposed to perform as well.

There was going to be the world’s largest bounce house, go-karting, and paintball for attendees to take part in. Unfortunately, all of this came to an unexpected halt just the other day. With only two weeks left to go, organizers pulled the plug on the event due to not being able to bring to life what they had originally envisioned for the festival. This was all for unforeseen circumstances beyond their control.

Tickets for the festival will be refunded but there’s still the issue of those who had already purchased non-refundable airfare and hotel arrangements, leading to some anger over the move.
