Mija releases avante garde music video for club-ready single, ‘Sweat It Out’

After taking an artistic turn into an indie-leaning live band touring format earlier this year, Mija is currently switching gears and getting back to her roots with a full club tour. Dubbed the Sweat It Out tour, she’s primed to close out the summer with stops at intimate venues all across the country.

Now Mija has released the official music video for the moody house gem that embodies her club tour. “Sweat It Out” follows a series of montaged stills and avante garde moving frames that follows a ballerina dancing around a sweaty BDSM cellist. Extreme close-up shots of Mija in low fidelity lighting make the video a quintessential Mija piece of work. It’s almost like watching a gritty B-level cult film with all the thumping snares of an underground house tune.

Mija will hit from Denver, Chicago, Seattle, Brooklyn, and Washington DC, and more cities all throughout December. Tickets can be purchased on Mija’s official website.
