When Seven Lions was a no-name bedroom dreamer back in 2011, he caught the ear of Jono, Tony, and Paavo in a remix competition for his distinctive rework of Above & Beyond‘s Zoë Johnston-assisted track, “You’ve Got To Go.” Now a mainstage headliner with his very own cross-genre style, Seven Lions’ story has come full circle as he releases a high-profile collaboration with the UK trance trio, featuring vocalist Sam Burger of the South African trio Opposite The Other.

“We’ve always loved Seven Lions. Jeff’s understanding of melody and songs is second to none,” explain Above & Beyond in a press release. “His remix of ‘On My Way To Heaven’ was arguably better than the original, so it was really only a matter of time before we’d make a record with him.”

During a scintillating EDC Las Vegas set back in May, where Jeff joined Jono and Tony on stage for the live world debut of “See The End.” Now the fully mastered version is available on Anjunabeats. A euphoric, uplifting progressive trance ballad, the track is the perfect marriage of styles between Above & Beyond’s cerebral builds and Seven Lions’ signature drops. Add to that a dream spell lyrical stylings of Burger and that track transcends the boundaries of time with a pure, feel-good sort of nostalgia.

The release coincides with Above & Beyond’s Group Therapy Weekender Festival at the Gorge Amphitheatre in Washington State this weekend. Fans can also expect to see Seven Lions delivering “See The End” on his Alchemy tour stops alongside SLADER, NGHTMRE, and The Glitch Mob.
