Road to Quasar: Stream Detøx’s deliciously low-end guest mix for inaugural LED flow festival

Quasar Festival has certainly turned heads within the Tipper community. How could it not with folks like Detox Unit, Spoonbill, Datagrama, and Somatoast on the line-up?

Now in its inaugural year, the Texas-based festival has equally been turning as many heads in the flow community. Located an hour or so outside of Dallas, the festival is putting as much headlining focus on the flow artists and visual artists as they are on the musical acts. Attendees will not only find flow workshops by some of the most revered names in the flow community, but an entire audience immersed in LEDs as they bathe in Funktion One sound.

With less than a month to go until Quasar officially opens its gates for the first time, organizers are generating even more hype with their Quasar Festival Mix Series. The series boasts guest mixes from line-up artists so attendees can expose themselves to Quasar’s weird and wonderful line of trippy bass music. Beaming from the NYC area, Detøx is one such artist to recently deliver an exuberant 30-minute guest spot. The mix combines melodic, heavy bass lines, left-field twists and turns, and a delicious dose of low-end mallarchy.

Quasar is taking over Blackland Ranch in Commerce, Texas, on October 11-13. More info on ticketing and line-up can be found on Quasar’s official website.
