Masterminds of melodic bass music Jason Ross and Dabin have come together with the vocal powerhouse Dylan Matthew for “One That Got Away,” out now on Seven Lions’ Ophelia Records. “One That Got Away” contains each producer’s signature melodic prowess, which pairs perfectly with Dylan Matthew’s passionate vocals.
Jason Ross has proven to be an integral force for Ophelia. He recently announced that his first studio album, 1000 Faces, will be coming out on the imprint. Ever since his fan-favorite collaboration with Seven Lions, “Ocean,” Ross has been a staple of Ophelia, so it comes as no surprise that his first studio album will be with the imprint.
Jason Ross’ sound perfectly meshes with that of Dabin, and fans have been eagerly awaiting updates on the single since the pair began teasing it on socials earlier this year. The talents of Dabin and Dylan Matthew have been seen together before on the anthemic single “First Time,” alongside label boss Seven Lions. Recently, “First Time” got a remix treatment from none other than NGHTMRE.
