Beatport taps Anna Lunoe, Bob Moses, Claude VonStroke, more for ‘ReConnect II’ live stream
As live stream “music festivals” continue to dominate the weekend for dance music heads, Beatport‘s ReConnect has been one of the most successful bar none. The previous edition raised $180,000 for the Association for Electronic Music (AFEM) and the World Health Organization’s COVID-19 Solidarity Response Fund.
Beatport has announced that ReConnect will be returning to Twitch on April 17, beginning at 1pm PDT. In partnership with Pioneer DJ, AFEM, Bridges For Music, and Direct Relief, the 36-hour online event will feature several popular Beatport performers set up from their home studios.
Included in ReConnect II will be a slew of house and tech-centric artists from Anna Lunoe, Boys Noize, Claude VonStroke, Kaskade, and Hot Since 82 to Maceo Plex, Sasha, Claptone, and Matador. Also included are popular crossover acts Bob Moses, Elohim, Hayden James, Sofi Tukker, and more.
The second installment of ReConnect will take place on Beatport’s Twitch channel, Proceeds will go to artists and victims financially affected by the Coronavirus pandemic.
