Global Dance announces jam-packed digital festival line-up in lieu of 2020 cancellation
As the coronavirus pandemic continues to wreak its havoc on summer, more and more summer music festivals are coming to the fore to announce their cancellations on the year. One of those is Colorado’s Global Dance Festival, originally set to take place July 10 and 11. In spite of the disappointing news, the Global Dance organizers have announced they are moving to an online format set to taking place May 9 and 10.
The line-up for Global Dance Digital Festival includes a range of heavy hitters, including Big Gigantic, Champagne Drip, Crankdat, Sullivan King, and more, along with a few Global Dance favorites in Pegboard Nerds, Decadon, Dr. Fresch, Ecotek, and more. Fans can also enjoy sets from a steady cast of newcomers with Banke, pluko, Nitti Gritti, Trivecta, DUCKY, and more.
Global Dance Digital Festival will be raising funds for Direct Relief during the two days of live streaming. This U.S based nonprofit turns donations directly back to the doctors, nurses, and other essential employees working on the front lines to keep us safe amongst this pandemic.
Tune in via Twitch on May 9 – 10, 2020.
