Watch Apashe’s album documentary on when classical meets electronic music
Montreal-based producer Apashe has linked up with his longtime photographer, videographer, and friend Adrian Villagomez. Together, they have officially released “A Renaissance,” a full documentary on the creation of his brand new album, Renaissance. The expertly shot video highlights the fusing of classical with bass music, which has become something of Apashe’s artistic stamp, along with the challenges he’s faced when breaking new ground.

Apashe and Adrian Villagomez traveled the globe for the full-length LP, recording a 69-piece orchestra in the Czech Republic, music videos in Japan and Russia, and additional content in Canada. The documentary provides a different piece of the larger album project, which attempts to go where no electronic dance music artist has gone before.
