Mersiv shares healing two-hour downtempo mix from his Morflo live stream

Known for his immersive landscapes and “pretty-loud-dark” line of bass, Anderson Benoit Gallegos has been making waves under Mersiv Sound Project for half a decade now. During quarantine, Mersiv has been busier than ever with two EP releases alongside veteran funk leader Manic Focus and bass newcomer Fryar. Gallegos has also been busy in the land of the live stream, with SummerEyes and his Morflo Records live streams. One recent performance that sticks out for Mersiv’s Martians, the name fondly given to his online fan community, was the Denver-based artists’ recent all downtempo performance on Morflo’s Twitch. It was such a special treat that Mersiv has uploaded the full.

Clocking in at nearly two hours in length, Mersiv takes listeners into the cosmos on a space ship ride past the heavens, through wormholes, and back to earth again. With selections form Supertask and Charlesthefirst’s “Borealis,” Govinda’s “Higher and Higher,” Shanti’s “Extinct,” TOOL’s “Disposition,” and more, the chill vibes are strong on this one. But too so are the heavier-leaning vibes with Moody Good’s popular remix of Slum Village’s “Fall In Love,” Soma’s “Meek Dub,” and so on.
