NotLö N’ Friends returns for a special holiday charity edition via Aftershock
There’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. Or darkness in the light, rather, as is the case with the self-proclaimed “Dubplate Debbie” known as NotLö. The Denver-based rising bass starlet‘s dark, heavy sounds have been getting the underground scene through quarantine. And she’s got quite the talented entourage of underground newcomers surrounding her too. She first caught CE‘s attention on Wreckno and Super Future’s Hypernatural remix EP, then with her RAINN live stream benefit, her NotLö N Friends Black Box takeover, and finally her ReVibe Retreat performance on Halloween. Now she’s the reason for the season once again with her upcoming charity live stream, NotLö N’ Friends: The Holiday Special.
The benefit will support Urban Peak, a Colorado-based nonprofit whose mission is to support displaced and homeless young adults. Plus, she’s bringing the entire Aftershock family with her for a victory lap. The virtual event will feature Dredlok, Shatter, and LittyKitter once more, along with Sky Suite, ColtCuts, and Dalek One b2b DRTYHBTZ. Of course, NotLö will be taking to the decks sandwiched in between. If one thing is predictable about the holiday spin session, it’s that this Aftershock artist collective is onto something.
The holiday edition of NotLö N’ Friends will hosted on AfterShock’s Twitch channel this Saturday, December 12, from 6 pm until 1 am EST.
