CouchFest reveals full 2021 line-up with over 100 bass-heavy artists from 12 countries
CouchFest returns for a full week, March 22 – 28, with four nights of takeovers and an internationally-curated weekend lineup ft. TRUTH, Supertask, Pushloop, & more
This time last year, the world and the music industry within were on the verge of incredible transformation. As concerts and festivals began facing cancellation and COVID-19 began to sink live music, a life boat emerged that provided fans and artists an outlet to enjoy this shared passion. This life boat came in the form of an online music festival called CouchFest, a 48-hour live stream fundraiser to raise money for artists directly affected by the pandemic. CouchFest marked the beginning of the online music festival revolution that would soon become the industry’s temporary haven.
One year later, organizers of this first-of-its-kind event, CouchFam Presents, are celebrating their first anniversary in true quarantine fashion. The festivities will be stretched to a full week, featuring four nights of label takeovers from Manuka Records, Swampwoofer, Silent Motion Records + Whomp Humboldt, and Producer Dojo.
With a solid UG bass lineup featuring headlining DJs and VJs side-by-side, the 2021 CouchFest line pulls in over 100 artists from 12 countries: US, UK, US, Canada, Germany, France, Bulgaria, Russia, Scotland, Slovenia, Italy, and Ecuador. The weekend lineup includes sets from Supertask, Kelly Dean, Kercha, Partywave, Sepia, Ternion Sound, and many more. Also, expect to see label blocks from TRUTH’s Deep, Dark & Dangerous; Heavy Traffic with Pushloop, A Hundred Drums, and more; and Deep End! with Gisaza, Dubdiggerz, and Kanomotis.
Over the weekend, fans will experience artist drop-ins, brain-tingling AV performances, and 50+ chances to win prize packages consisting of CouchFest merch and a wide variety of graciously-donated items from sponsors and artists on the lineup. Each $20 suggested donation gets you one raffle entry with the grand prize winner receiving a SUBPAC X1 + C1 bundle valued at around $600. CouchFam will also be running a merch presale and donating all proceeds to their artists. 100% of all the funds raised from CouchFest goes directly into the pockets of the artists.
