Following his release of “Honey Drip,” which CE spoke exclusively to the queer talent over, Wreckno has shared the new music video for his recent buzzing lead EP single. The video follows the Detroit rapper/DJ/producer as he reigns over a hive of raunchy characters dripping with honey.

Armed with a high-caliber production values, the video’s opening shot of a single pansy flower growing from the seat of a throne suggests Wreckno’s imminent rise to the crown has begun. At the video’s midway point, the music settles and Wreckno flips it and reverses to a psychedelic video for the hard-hitting, unreleased track “Hieroglyphs,” giving fans an unexpected tease of what’s to come on his forthcoming six-track EP, slated for release on June 23.

Wreckno recently announced his debut EP, Pansy, in celebration of Pride month. The project explores queer empowerment, self-love, and reclaiming identity with celebratory art doused in pride. Each song on Pansy represents Wreckno’s diverse range of musical tastes and styles—influenced by G Jones, Flume, Azealia Banks, & Lady Gaga and cosigned by peers including Griz, CloZee, and Dev—the EP is an exhaustive mashup of what fans can expect from a Wreckno set.
