It’s no secret that DETØX has been making moves this year in the studio. Currently sitting on a wealth of yet-to-be-released material, and poised to come smashing out of the gates, time will show underground bass music fans just how serious this New York-based artist. His seriousness is met only by his passion and intention for music making. That much is obvious on his newest experimental bass single, “Night Sky,” which was recently premiered on Headbang Society.

Complete with swirling synths, hypnotic vocal samples, and propulsive basslines guiding the track’s forward momentum, the four-and-a-half-minute number is a journey through technical prowess and lyrical seductiveness. The single features an unknown female vocalist who sings her way into the night time with calm collective and expert control.

The track ultimately builds to the last drop about two-thirds of the way through, where the gritty headbanging bass shows it’s true face for all to get lost in as they navigate their way through the evening. One thing is certain: DETØX is certainly living up to his name. This is one you’ll want to bump on your way to the clubs this weekend!
