Disclosure deliver fourth song of the week with disco-fueled track, ‘Funky Sensation’
Disclosure are bringing new meaning to “can’t stop, won’t stop” with their intense output of new music lately — one track for every day of the week, to be exact. So one can only guess what tomorrow holds in store. The Lawrence brothers began the week with “Moonlight,” followed by “Where Angels Fear To Tread” and “Love Can Be So Hard,” with each new track nodding back to a different decade of music.
Now they’ve decide to go in the direction of a funk-fueled 1970s disco throwback tune in “Funky Sensation,” a track which the duo revealed over their Twitter was inspired by their immense love of disco music.
Thanks for listening to Love Can Be So Hard yesterday. And now, here’s Funky Sensation https://t.co/fDUuiobKuC Inspired by our immense love of Disco music, we took @Alka_Lino's version of this classic song by Gwen McCrae and flipped it again. Hope this one gets you moving 🕺🏼 pic.twitter.com/2sVkVM0ESW

The track takes on AlkaLino’s version of this classic song by Gwen McCrae and flips it again. The result is smooth and sultry disco updated for millennial tastes, complete with spacey synths and changing tempos. No word yet on a forthcoming album, but at this rate it’s only a matter of time before fans get an announcement of some kind.
