Zomboy’s newest release ‘Rebel Bass’ is pure, unadulterated filth

Bassheads haven’t been treated to a Zomboy neck-breaking release since his 2017 EP, Rott & Roll Pt. 1. All that changes today as the no-frills dubstep producer releases his first solo single in over a year. The track, titled “Rebel Bass,” is out on Never Say Die Records and features the classic Zomboy ear-shattering filth we’ve come to expect of Josh Mellody. Characterized by destructive bass lines, horror movie-esque vocal samples, and spine-shattering synths, the track stands as a textbook example of what makes Zomboy’s music so devastatingly bombastic. Prepare for the zombie apocalypse.
