With Labor Day marking the official wind down of summer, Lane 8 welcomes fall a little early this year with the next installment in his exceptionally-crafted seasonal mixtape series. It was only a short time ago that the Bay Area producer released his five-hour-long Summer 2018 Mixtape — three months to be exact.

Although he is currently on the second leg of his Little By Little album tour, that didn’t stop Daniel Goldstein from delivering his Fall 2018 Mixtape. After all, his career-long seasonal extended mixes are what fans have come to love most about him. His most recent 2-and-a-half hour mix represents a full embodiment of the fall — a season tinged with the slight melancholy of summer passing soon, an appreciation for the augmented colors of fall, and deep reflection for things to come in the cold dead of winter.

Lane 8 takes listeners on journey through bright and mellow sounds, sampling everyone from Rüfüs Du Sol to SevenDoors, Solomun to mau5trap newcomer Rinzen, to Pink Floyd and Rylan Taggart. Of course, Goldstein doesn’t forget to include a bevy of his own originals and remixes, with some new track IDs along the way.
