G JONES teams with ISOxo for final ‘Illusory Tracks’ EP single, ‘Say What’
Greg Jones is no stranger to widespread critical praise. A lauded master of experiential bass productions and a highly sought-after performer, G JONES has been touted by Rolling Stone touted G JONES Rolling Stone as a “studio wizard,” with Billboard calling his music akin to “opening a door with the key of imagination to a new dimension of sound and sight, shadow, and substance.”
Following the releases of “Operator” and “R.A.V.E.” with EPROM, the final single off G JONES’ hotly anticipated Illusory Tracks EP has landed in “Say What,” just ahead of the short player’s November 22 release date. The collaboration with electrifying San Diego native, ISOxo, has been a mainstay in the setlists of both artists’ sold-out headline shows for the last year with fans clamoring for a release since its live debut in October 2021. The creation of “Say What” is truly a full circle moment for ISOxo as he started this idea inspired by G JONES and ended up being their first collaboration.
“The song ‘Say What’ started off as a beat challenge that I did a few years ago. I wanted to make a G Jones type beat when creating the track, little did I know that years later he would actually want to work on it too. This was really a full circle moment for me.”

“Julian sent me a demo of this idea and I immediately loved it,” G JONES elaborates further. “He sent over stems, and from there the rest of track came together really quickly. It felt like a really natural and effortless collaboration.” Clocking in at just over three minutes in length, the heavy dubstep tune seamlessly blends the unique energies and experimental musical directions of the two collaborators, creating a record that will be played out on the biggest stages in EDM for years to come.
Having recently wrapped his sold-out IllusoryOS tour—Jones’ biggest to date—and an absolutely massive festival season highlighted by plays at EDC Vegas, Lightning in a Bottle, Bonnaroo, Bass Canyon, Electric Zoo, Lost Lands, and Porter Robinson’s Second Sky (debuting G Jones b2b Virtual Self), G JONES has cemented himself as a juggernaut in the experimental electronic and underground bass music lanes. His 2022 wraps up with a massive curated and branded (sold-out) event in Jacksonville, Florida, at The Museum of Science and History with EPROM, Lunice, and more.
