Calvin Harris sets record for decade’s most chart-topping hits in the UK
When Calvin Harris and Sam Smith released their much-anticipated collaboration in “Promises,” the world knew the track would instantly soar to the top of the charts. But the delicious Brit and Scot pairing has now pushed Harris to the top ranking artist of the decade, at least in the UK. The single marks eight No. 1 tracks for Harris over the 2010s, more than anyone else in the record business. It’s Harris’ tenth No. 1 record over the course of his career, more than ABBA, Spice Girls, Rihanna and Eminem.
The “Promises” artist took to Twitter to thank his fans for the title.
