Major Lazer is getting ready to dump loads of new music with a gaggle of collaborators
Major Lazer has let the dust settle a bit on their super-charged releases and appearances. And it’s no wonder since key member Diplo has had his hands in so many projects lately — from his highly-visible LSD trio with Labrinth and Sia to his Silk City duo with Mark Ronson. However, Major Lazer now emerges from the ashes-to-soon-to-be-dust to tell fans that they’re gearing up for a month of all new music releases.
The superstar trio took to Twitter to make the announcement: “new music all month.” In the following series of tweets, they reveal they have not one, not two, but four new tracks: including “All My Life” with Burna Boy, “Okrant/Balance Pon It” with Babes Wodumo & Taranchyla, “Loyal” with Kizz Daniel & Kranium, and “Tie It Up” with Raye & Mr Eazi.
Whatever is on the horizon for the EDM/hip-hop crossover trio seems intriguing and titillating, to say the least. From what we know of Diplo, Jillionaire, and Walshy Fire, the releases surely won’t disappoint.
