Minnesota releases new Stylust & Gisto collab, announces NA tour dates

Christian Bauhofer, better known under his Minnesota alias, is a bass music mastermind in his own right. Since stepping onto the electronic dance scene nearly a decade ago, the Santa Cruz-based producer has been unstoppable force with classics like “Push It,” “HiLow,” and “Thunderdome.”

What’s more, Minnesota has been steady kick with 2018 releases in “Final Frontier,”  “Snake Charmer” on his Outer Realms imprint, along with his Curio EP on WAKAAN. Now he’s adding to his heavy arsenal with his latest single, titled “Burn.” The track comes as a collaborative effort with Stylust, featuring the vocals of Gisto, who together concoct a reggae-infused wonky dubstep work. An ode to smoking marijuana, the song will surely become another festival set staple of Minnesota’s — and a mighty fine time to light up crowds with his frenetic beats. 

To coincide with the launch of his indie imprint, Minnesota will be embarking on his biggest tour to date. Dubbed “Adventures Through Space And Time,” the 35+ date tour will see Minnesota and his mates Charlesthefirst, Zeke Beats, Esseks, and Pigeon Hole traverse North America this fall.
