It’s not everyday that a brand new music festival gains quite as much immediate attention as HiJinx Music Festival did yesterday. In such a saturated market space, it’s easy to get lost in the crowd — especially given the bevy of end-of-year music festivals that have bombarded consumer senses over the past week. But given the excellently curated line-up of their inaugural edition, set to take place in Philadelphia, December 28-29, the folks behind the event ought to be giving themselves a heavy pat on the back.

The 2019 bill is a sight to behold from top to bottom, with headliners in Bassnectar, ODESZA, Big Gigantic, and GRiZ. The two-night event will also see performances from RL Grime, whose coming off the release of his sophomore LP, Illenium, SubCarbon label heads Ganja White Knight, Flatbush Zombies, Denzel Curry, Whipped Cream, Dorfex Bos and Vanic.

Arriving as the Northeast’s largest indoor music event, fans of hip-hop and electronic dance alike will have their pallets wetted in time for a new year. Tickets are available now, here.
