MUST WATCH: CloZee unveils music video for forthcoming debut album’s title track, ‘Evasion’

Coming off a string of powerful performances on the world’s largest festival stages, including her Electric Forest debut, CloZee is one name that is capturing the minds and hearts of music fans all over the world. Now the French indie-electronic producer is gearing up for the release of her debut 10-track album, EVASION, while in the midst of her album-accompanying world tour.

“I made all the tunes in the past few months, so it’s not just a compilation of tunes that I’ve been piling up over two years or so,” CloZee revealed to CE of EVASION in a recent interview.

To tease her highly-anticipated album, CloZee has just released the title track off the LP, which sees it’s release some time this fall on Gravitas Recordings/Midnight Escape Records. Dubbed “Evasion,” the track is a captivating world-influenced ballad that puts CloZee’s signature sound on display. Complete with toy box samples, winding melodies, entrancing chords, and a powerful bass line undergirding the light-hearted high-ends, CloZee shines on the cleanly layered composition.
Filmed on CloZee’s home front in Southern France, the music video begins with two children parting ways in the luscious forests of Ariège. Flash forward some 20 years later and the pair rediscover one another in the bustling city of Toulouse. United by the art of dance, the two begin teleporting to different geographic terrains throughout the country side. When the dance is complete, one of the young men vanishes completely. The other is left to realize the powerful out-of-body co-mingling was an all-out evasion of reality, existent only on the astral plane, or from within his own mind.
To coincide with the album, CloZee is embarking on a 39-date world tour this September, with stops in major cities all across North America and European/Australian dates to be announced soon. Tickets are available now.
