Conrank unleashes seismic bass weapon on Circus Records, ‘Buk Em’
UK bass music producer Conrank has become known for his unconventional blend of grime and bass house with the reggae-infused sounds of classic DnB and UK dubstep. Residing half the time in China, and the other half in Los Angeles, he says his music has heavily influenced by where he lives. It is this sound stamp that has caught the attention of tastemakers from across the bass music spectrum. He’s even got a speaker-busting Bassnectar collaboration under his belt, “Easy Does It,” which was released as a part of the latter’s Reflective 3 project.
Having previously released his Distorted Method EP on Circus Records, Conrank returns to Flux Pavilion’s imprint with a seismic bass weapon in “Buk Em.” Calling on the 10 tone basslines and other cavernous sonic elements of the early dubstep era, Conrank folds these formidable fundamentals into a future-forward bass music production hell bent on a merciless desire for mass mayhem.
Anyone whose caught one of Conrank’s relentless live shows can testify to the havoc-wreaking power of his trademark productions. Conrank will join Space Jesus for an extensive tour, which is set to hit Midwest cities this fall, including a stop at Disco Donnie‘s Freakfest in OKC. Tickets are available here.
