Diplo, Sia, Labrinth Move ‘Mountains’ on newest single, with debut album looming
Fans haven’t heard a new release from LSD in over two months because they’ve each been busy making moves on their own fronts. Sia recently unveiled the inspiring anthem, “I’m Still Here,” while Diplo collaborated on Ellie Goulding’s new song “Close to Me” and Major Lazer‘s track with Tove Lo, “Blow That Smoke.” Meanwhile, Labrinth has been working on a solo album along with co-writing and vocal credits on Nicki Minaj’s “Majesty.”
Now fans don’t have to wait any longer as the psychedelic supergroup have released their newest track, titled “Mountains.” The song appears as the title track to an EP on Spotify, which includes their previously released songs “Thunderclouds,” “Audio,” and “Genius.”
“Mountains” is a billowy new tune that quietly unfurls with far off falsettos from Sia and Labrinth, before building into Diplo-tinged electronic driven affair after the chorus. From the vocal nuance, to the song’s gentle nature, LSD has concocted another colorful anthem that is primed for radio-ready success.
LSD will also be releasing their debut album soon, says Sia.
