Check out these stunning visuals from Dave Tipper’s 3-day Brooklyn run
Tipsgiving is a time to give thanks, according to the Godfather of Glitch Dave Tipper. This past weekend, the UK producer and psybass conductor transformed Brooklyn’s historic Kings Theatre into a pungent mothball playground of wookery with his holiday special event.
The three nights saw opening performances from Jade Cicada, 5am, Detox Unit, Spoonbill, Malakai, and more, along with three main Tipper sets spanning ambient, through trip-hop and downtempo, to uptempo nu-skill breaks. Despite phones reportedly being taken down by venue security at the request of Tipper, we’re thankful for the several fans who managed to sneak in some amazing videos for our viewing pleasure at home.
With Steve Haman, Datagrama, B1NARY, and Jonathan Singer on visuals, to say this weekend’s Tipper & Friends event was a psychedelic affair would be quite the understatement.
This post will be updated as more videos become available.
