Swedish House Mafia will headline Creamfields 2019

While closing out Creamfields this past August, Axwell Λ Ingrosso hinted at a Swedish House Mafia return in 2019. But the “to be continued” announcement was cryptic and unofficial at best.

Now, after announcing dates in Stockholm and Mexico City, more cryptic posters ended up on street corners all around Manchester. The posters donned the postal code of United Kingdom’s biggest dance festival, Creamfields — ‘WA4.’

As it turns out, Creamfields is offering up another dose of the cryptic SHM hype on a recent Facebook post, which reads, “WA4 next year.”

Now SMH logos have started appearing in Glasgow, Scotland, which is the host city of Creamfields. Yet fans began to beg the question of whether the ensuing Glasgow show would be an individual reunion tour booking or one specific to Creamfields.

But one simple scan of Creamfields’ website reveals the iconic Swedish House Mafia tripled dotted logo. Not so cryptic, anymore.

While the official online countdown timer on SHM’s website hasn’t quite yet hit its zero point, the all-but-confirmed move on the part of Creamfields’ social team takes the cryptic out cryptic — at least for anyone whose paying attention closely.

SHM’s team will give an official confirmation of a Creamfields headlining appearance on Wednesday, November 28th, at 6:00 AM ET.
