12th Planet releases 5-track ‘Swamplex Terrestrial’ EP, announces 2019 tour

For over a decade now, LA’s very own John Dadzie been slaying the subs under his 12th Planet moniker. The Smog Records co-founder and Disciple Records artist has released so many iconic dubstep and jungle tracks that it could fill an entire volume.

12th Planet has now dropped another atomic offering in his 5-track Swamplex Terrestrial EP, out now on Disciple. With three tracks already released in the EP’s title track, the Barely Alive-assisted “Mmm Good,” and “Let It Bang,” Dadzie’s two newest additions follow suit with his classic apocalyptic structure, with intense build ups and seismic drops right up front, followed by aggressive synth patterns and off-kilter basslines.

To coincide with the release, 12th Planet will be embarking on a 26-date US tour by the same name, with supporting acts Gentlemen’s Club, Shlump, Infekt, and Murda joining him on the road. The tour will kick off in Austin, January 17, 2019 (see a list full dates below).

Swamplex Terrestrial tour tickets are available now on 12th Planet’s website.
