Maceo Plex is launching a new label, MPLX
Known among the music industry’s hardest-working electronic artists, Eric Estornel has been releasing music under his Maceo Plex moniker since 2002. He’s released three studio albums, countless extended plays, and a slew of releases on his other imprints, from Lone Romantic to Ellum and its new sub-label, Ellum Black.
Now the Cuban-American techno titan is launching his newest outlet for music creation and he’s calling it MPLX. The independent imprint will be Maceo Plex’s “vehicle for personal experimentation” with releases solely from, well, Maceo Plex. Be on the lookout for the label’s inaugural two-track EP, titled Mutant Romance, which lands December 7.
