Tycho releases first track in over two years, ‘Jetty’

Upon promising last week that he had new music in store, Tycho has delivered on that promise with a singularly beautiful new single. Entitled “Jetty,” the track has everything we’ve come to love of the Northern California producer: lo-fi FX, soft pads, lush atmospheres, and ambient melodies. In short, it’s four minutes of pure downtempo bliss.

Tycho’s “Jetty” comes via Astralwerks’ forthcoming Ninjawerks Volume 1 compilation, curated by professional gamer Ninja and out December 14. Other arrivals on the project are Alesso’s “Tilted Towers” and 3lau’s “Gametime,” featuring Ninja. Yesterday, Ninja was joined by the each of three artists on his Twitch Channel to premiere the tracks while gaming.
