Illenium gives Halsey’s ‘Without You’ an eloquent remix
When Illenium debuted his unreleased remix of Halsey‘s “Without You” at EDC Orlando, it was an ornament work-in-progress that left the crowd’s clutching their hearts. As Halsey’s biggest single to date, the track is an empowering anthem for realizing one’s true worth. Now Illenium has delivered his studio-mastered take on the live version via an official remix.
It’s powerful, eloquent, and emblazoned with the Denver-based producer’s signature cinematic sound. Characterized by clean guitar melodies, robust drums, and hugely emotional builds, Illenium’s cut takes “Without You” from the radio waves to the big screen.
It’s no secret Illenium has been a long time fan of The Chainsmokers-collaborator. Now he’s humbly delivered on what will likely become a staple piece in his live sets.
“I’m stoked to finally get this one out to the world,” Illenium says. “I’ve always been a huge fan of Halsey so being able to put my own spin on one of her tracks was really fun. Super happy with how it turned out and I’m really hoping that it connects with both our fans.”
