Damian Albarn has never been one to mince words over the progress of his alt-rock/electronic crossover cartoon quartet. The Gorillaz frontman recently went on the record in a Beats1 interview saying that he has been in the studio with Australian DJ/producer Flume.
Info over the collab was posted to social media care of Twitter user @Electric_Hawk. With Flume announcing he had new music on the way in 2019, fans knew it was going to be gargantuan. But no one has any idea just how monumental a collaborative effort with the Gorillaz could be. Historic even.
