Sofi Tukker and ZHU team up on Ultra Records release, ‘Mi Rumba’

As fellow Grammy-nominated artists, a Sofi Tukker and ZHU collaboration sounds a lot like striking gold in the music industry. That’s why their newest track, “Mi Rumba,” is music to Ultra Music‘s ears.

Cool, calm, and collected are three words to describe the track, yet extremely danceable. Released on Ultra Music, “Mi Rumba” is the perfect marriage of styles — between the NYC-based duo’s retro-pop lyrics and ZHU’s signature melodic synths as the song’s backbone.

Sofi Tukker is nominated for a 2019 Grammy for Best Dance/Electronic Album with their debut Treehouse LP,  which is their second nomination following the 2017 hit “Drinkee.” Back in 2014, ZHU was nominated in the Best Dance Recording category for the track “Faded.”
