After two years of patience and anticipation, mixed feelings will soon be subdued. The time has finally come to ascend onto Rothbury, Michigan for the tenth iteration of Electric Forest. As eager first-timers and seasoned EF veterans alike begin to coordinate their travels, the folks at Electric Forest HQ have just released set times for the festival’s five days of music. In addition, don’t miss the activities/special events held inside The Brainery (located on Main Street in the GA campgrounds).
For first-timers, its best to read through the FAQ section before making the long journey into Sherwood Forest. In the meantime, all festival goers can begin making their schedules now— which is bound to be wrought with conflict after conflict. After all, this is one of the United State’s largest and most-anticipated events as well as one of the country’s most expertly curated festivals.
In the Ranch Arena stage—which is considered the main stage, for all its intents and purposes—be sure to check out closing headliners in Disclosure, GRiZ, Porter Robinson, and Louis The Child. Most of all, don’t forget about those dual sets from The String Cheese Incident (SCI) on Friday and Saturday, which are always a huge spectacle event. SCI precedes the evening headliners and it’s a Forest Family main attraction.
As for The Brainery, Forest attendees will not want to miss this series of yoga, activities, industry panels, and more! Whether it’s Chakra Cleansing Soundbath, Sound Healing frequency, Laughter Yoga, or Self-Reiki for Stress, be sure to check out the offerings in the “Beathe” category of the schedule. If what you’re wanting in an industry-focused talk from the likes of The Untz, Deadbeats, Mean Mug Music, and more, then don’t pass up on the “Learn” panels. Of course, there are always the annual favorites to attend, including Totem Making, Native American Dance, Plant Spiritualism, Sounds of the Forest, and any TWLOHA talk.
Be sure to check out our most anticipated music of the weekend, including Friday sets from Toro Y Moi (Sherwood Court, 9pm), Rainbow Kitten Surprise (Carousel Club, 1:45am), Tinklicker (Observatory, 9:30pm), and potions into NotLö into Wreckno into MIZE (Tripolee, 3pm-7:15pm), and Liquid Stranger (Triploee, 12:45am). On Saturday, June 25, you won’t want to miss LSDREAM’s LIGHTCODE sound healing set (Sherwood Court, 2pm), Mersiv into CloZee (Sherwood Court, 9:15pm-12:30am), SIDEPIECE (Triploee (8:30pm), Lettuce (Carousel Club, 2am), and Supertask (Observatory, 2:15am). On Sunday, June 26, GRiZ will chase the golden hour (Ranch Arena, 6pm), followed by Lab Group (Sherwood Court, 10:15pm), Lotus closing out Carousel Club (12:20am), and A Hundred Drums into Tsuruda into Rome In SIlver into Khiva (5pm-9:45pm).
PRO-TIP: Don’t forget to stay tuned to word of mouth for secret sets as they usually abound all over the week throughout the Double JJ Ranch grounds.
