As one of America’s longest-running music festivals, Movement Electronic Music Festival is returning to the “birthplace of techno” this spring/summer. Nestled on the riverfront inside downtown Detroit’s Hart Plaza, the three-day event is set to take place on its usual Memorial Day weekend slot.

Now the festival has released its full line-up for 2019, following a tasteful tease of a few keys artists back in December. The daily line-up features so many unwavering underground talents in the house and techno terrains, that it’s almost overwhelming to behold. Notable top tier additions include Carl Craig, Charlotte de Witte, DisclosureFisher, Get Real, Golf Clap, and a special Dubfire b2b Nicole Moudaber set.

Also joining first-rounders in Amelie Lens, Chris Lake, and Hot Since 82 is Dirtybird Player J. Phlip, Seth Troxler, Richie Hawton, Tech queen Maya Jane Coles, Tale of Us, and many more. Always one to support local Detriot talent on its roster, Movement invites funk master Detroit native GRiZ to the show. Organizers have also included Gucci Mane to appeal to the commercial hip-hop tastes, which will no doubt be receiving eye roles from the techno hardcores over the weekend.

Movement Detroit will take place May 25-27, 2019. Tickets are available for purchase on the festival’s website.
