Bassnectar, Young Thug, GRiZ, STS9 top Live Nation’s End of The Rainbow at the Gorge

Last year, music festival enthusiasts in the Pacific Northwest were left disappointed with the retirement of Sasquatch! Music Festival. As 2018 became known as the year of the festival graveyard, it was so too time for the long-running event to meet its end at the iconic Gorge Amphitheatre.

Seated on a bend in the beautiful Columbia River in central Washington, the Gorge has won multiple awards, including Pollstar’s “Best Outdoor Venue” award nine times. For more than 15 years, the massive venue held Sasquatch! to the delight of West Coast fans from California to Canada. However, Live Nation, the event company behind the venue’s operation, pulled the plug on the festival due to declining ticket sales.

However, there’s always a light at the end of the tunnel. The announcement for the new End of the Rainbow festival was met with relief and excitement as a fresh iteration of a weekend event at the Gorge was born.

Taking place over the coveted Memorial Day long holiday weekend, Live Nation has put together a strong lineup that will be sure to rival any other concurrent festival. Featuring two sets by Bassnectar and appearances by Young Thug, Griz, and STS9, there is sure to be something for everyone and fans of all walks of musical life will no doubt be in attendance. Underground bass music is well represented too, featuring sets by EPROM, Dorfex Bos, Whipped Cream and Run DMT.
